Construction of the new garden is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2010 and Sunday, November 7, 2010. See the News page for announcements. Although the final plans for the work day are being drawn up, we anticipate the work will include:
Let us know if you would like to help out with construction, have pickup truck for hauling soil or debris or have special construction skills (carpentry, plumbing, etc.) In addition, we will be purchasing lumber, garden and irrigation supplies, and topsoil. If you know people in the community that might be willing to provide materials or discounts on materials, please contact us. Talk to your class coordinator or the Life Lab committee - Chris Donohoe (lead for Phase II construction; 239-7911, lifelab@holycsc.org), Megan Grenier, Laura LeRoy, and Cindy Honey. We wish to thank the supporters of the Life Lab Mother’s Day Sale and particularly the Parents Association for providing funds for these improvements.
