Welcome to the Life Lab!
 

The Life Lab is an academic program at Holy Cross School that took root in the fall of 2008.  The Life Lab is more than a school garden - it is an extension of the classroom.  The goal of the Program is to provide students with hands-on experience in many disciplines, including science, math, reading, environmental studies, nutrition, and health.  These lessons complement those taught in the classroom.  The Program is run by the teachers with the help of parent volunteers.

This website, like the Life Lab itself, is a "home grown" community project.  Here teachers and parent volunteers can share news, photos, lessons, and plans.  It is also a good starting point to research garden and science projects.  As the site grows, students will be able to share their observations, photos, drawings, experimental results, and other discoveries with classmates and parents.
